“Elon Lives on Mars”, K. Zibell, 2026. Inspired by the Surf Shadows playing our first gig for 18 months, I wrote this tune, linking our surf and space themes. All sampled instruments so far, but hopefully the Surf Shadz might play and record some time.
“Before the Wine Takes Over”, K. Zibell 2015 revised 2026. I wrote this for the Avengers first CD in 2015 (you can find this version Avengers “50 Years On” CD re-mix, 2020) and re-visited it in 2026, slowing and making it more bluesy with some chord changes. Oz plays lead, Don rhythm and I’m on bass and vocals here.
