The Avengers

The Avengers grew up together in Mildura in the 60’s when things were tough and guitars had just been invented (…well, you know what I mean!). Of course, we had to form a band, and waddyaknow…we’re still doing it, albeit infrequently these days. Mildura people being what they are, they love to get together. I reckon our old associates have broken world records for reunions, and of course they had to have the old band to play! So we did–several times over the past 10 years.

“Renegade”: Back in 1964, Glen Miller, a teacher at Mildura High School, wrote an instrumental for the band. We played it a bit, and decided to re-record it in 2021, so here’s the update, together with some band nostalgia.
